Freelance Senior Analytics Manager

About the Role 

We are seeking a Senior Freelance Analytics Manager to lead our analytics team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will develop and execute analytics strategies, manage a team of analysts and BI developers, and collaborate with senior leadership to align analytics initiatives with business objectives. You will oversee the delivery of high-impact insights, optimize data processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through advanced analytics. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement analytics strategies to support business goals and KPIs. 
• Lead a team of data analysts, BI developers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality insights and solutions. 
• Collaborate with C-level executives and department heads to identify analytics opportunities and priorities. 
• Design and manage enterprise-wide analytics frameworks, including dashboards, reports, and predictive models. 
• Oversee data governance, quality, and security to ensure defined, accurate and reliable data. 
• Work with SQL, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau, and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) to extract and transform data. 
• Mentor junior analytics professionals and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning. 
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to support strategic decisions. 
• Optimize analytics processes for efficiency, scalability, and performance. 
• Manage analytics budgets, resources, and timelines for projects and initiatives. 

Ideal Candidate Profile 

Experience 

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, with 5+ years in a management role. 
• Proven track record of leading analytics teams and delivering high-impact insights. 
• Expertise in SQL, Python/R, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). 
• Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL processes. 
• Strong background in data governance, quality, and security. 
• Experience managing analytics budgets, resources, and cross-functional projects. 
• Familiarity with predictive modeling, machine learning, or AI is a plus. 

Languages 

• Fluent in English (required for collaboration). 
• Fluent in French or Dutch (required for client/stakeholder communication). 

Soft Skills 

• Strong leadership and team management skills. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences. 
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align analytics with business goals. 
• Ability to manage stakeholders and drive change through data.
