We are looking for talented Java Developers to join a global Electronic Equities team working on a core Referential Data application that sits at the heart of the trading ecosystem.

This platform delivers a unified and reliable view of electronic equities data (securities and their parameters), ensuring high standards of data quality, accuracy, and timeliness across downstream banking systems.

💡 About the Role

You will contribute to a mission-critical platform responsible for the integrity and distribution of reference data used across the bank’s equities business. The role combines backend development, production support, and close collaboration with business users in an agile environment.

💼 Main Responsibilities

✔ Develop and maintain the Referential Data application

✔ Ensure high standards of quality, security, and performance

✔ Participate in full Agile SDLC (analysis, design, development, testing, code reviews)

✔ Collaborate with production support teams for releases and maintenance

✔ Work directly with business users to understand requirements

✔ Provide L3 support when required

✔ Contribute to continuous improvement of the platform and codebase

🛠 Technical Skills

🔹 Java 8+ (Mastery)

🔹 Spring Framework (Core, IoC, Batch) — Expert

🔹 Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (RDBMS)

🔹 Messaging systems — Expert level

🔹 CI/CD, Maven, Git, Shell scripting — Practical experience

🔹 JavaScript (Angular / React SPA exposure)

🔹 Experience in Agile methodologies

🔹 Strong ability to work with complex and legacy codebases

🔹 Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking / Cash Equities is a plus
