AWS DevOps Engineer

Role: AWS DevOps Engineer- Banking Domain

Location: Geneva, Switzerland

Onsite/Offsite: Hybrid Remote. 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Language: French – Advanced and English Advanced.

Job Description:

• Need 10 years of experience as an AWS and DevOps Engineer.
• AWS Services like (EC2, load balancer, Lamba, S3, EBS) knowledge and good understanding
• Terraform good heads-on with module creation for multiple AWS services.
• Gitlab/Github and AWS DevOps CI/CD pipeline should know how to create from scratch.
• Python and Shell scripting with good heads-on for automation on AWS cloud
• Docker and EKS/Kubernetes Good heads-on with write YAML file for micro service deployment using CI/CD
• Dockerfile creation with container troubleshooting
• CI/CD pipeline for deploy micro services in EKS/Kubernetes
• Good knowledge on micro service end to end follow for troubleshooting and implementation
• Good knowledge on frontend and backend services follows with troubleshooting and implementation
• Good knowledge on on-prem VMs and other services deployment using CI/CD pipeline
• Good knowledge to AWS and on-prem security like (AWS IAM roles, VM security etc.)
• Good knowledge to implement monitoring on-prem and AWS cloud watch
• Good understanding AWS and on-prem logging and alters implementation
• Good knowledge and understanding about AWS and on-prem architecture and follow.
• Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices, programming and API design (Python, Java, Go, Bash or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes, AWS/Cloud environment.
• Proficiency with configuration management and infrastructure as code tools (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
• Significant knowledge of architecture topics such as security, network, database, and identity access management.
• Capable of adapting to any situation and switch contexts effectively.
• Solution-oriented mindset.
• Focuses on proactive strategies to prevent issues before they occur.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Your role as a DevOps Engineer includes the following responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business owners, technical business analysts, projects managers and suppliers to understand the business use cases.
• Work closely with the solution architecture team, Identity Access Management team, infrastructure teams (Hosting, Database, Network) and security to design the appropriate architecture for your application.
• Take accountability for technical infrastructure changes for your application.
• Analyze defects and incidents, identify root causes, and implement comprehensive solutions.
