About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Backend Developer to join a high-scale e-commerce environment serving approximately 80,000 weekly visitors. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable backend services using modern .NET technologies in a cloud-native Azure ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving performance and scalability challenges, working with complex integrations, and contributing to architecture decisions in a modern engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using .NET 8 and C#
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations for high-volume e-commerce platforms
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
• Work with Azure cloud services and distributed systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture improvements
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and testable code standards
• Explore and apply AI-assisted development practices where beneficial

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience with .NET development
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with C#
• 5+ years of experience working with Azure services
• Strong experience with .NET 8 / modern .NET ecosystem
• Experience building scalable backend systems in high-traffic environments
• Solid understanding of API design and system integrations
• Experience with performance optimization and monitoring
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and microservices
• Experience working in agile development teams
• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience in e-commerce platforms or retail systems
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures
• Experience with AI-enhanced development tools and workflows
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments
• DevOps / CI-CD experience
