About The Project
The client, a global industrial leader, is looking to modernize its demand planning operations to better navigate today’s volatile market. The objective of this project is to conduct a top-to-bottom review and realignment of their core forecasting principles.
As a Graduate Associate, you will analyze historical data to identify systemic "forecast bias" and evaluate the effectiveness of current methodologies. Your goal will be to help design a unified forecasting framework that synchronizes Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain expectations. Project Details
- Start Date: 19 May
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Workload: ~20 hours per week
- Work Mode: Remote
- Compensation: Paid position
- Education: MSc, MiM or MBA students in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or Statistics.
- Industry Experience: A strong interest in Supply Chain Planning, demand forecasting, or industrial operations.
- Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in statistical analysis. You should be comfortable calculating and interpreting metrics like MAPE, WAPE, and Forecast Bias.
- Communication: Excellent English skills, with the ability to translate technical data findings into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (Power Query/Pivot Tables) is essential. Familiarity with statistical software (Python, R) or specialized forecasting tools is a plus.
- Interests: A passion for operational excellence and the "science" of prediction within a global corporate context.
