We have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Threat Intelligent Analyst to join our team in Romania!

Team Purpose:


As a Global Managed Security Service Provider, Getronics is increasingly required to demonstrate security capability and compliance to gain the trust and confidence of our clients. The Getronics Security team is part of our effort to respond to this need, to give our clients the assurance that their services are secure and to be a trusted advisor on all matters relating to security.


Role Purpose:


A Cyber Threat Analyst involves consuming and delivering tailored intelligence internally and to customers, supporting decision-making on current threats through gathering, analysing, and distributing intelligence products. This includes monitoring cybersecurity news, providing contextualized threat intelligence to stakeholders via timely reporting channels, and leveraging premium feeds. A key responsibility is collaborating with internal stakeholders to translate intelligence into actionable priorities, driving activities effectively. Additionally, the role supports the Incident Response and Security Management teams by providing contextual intelligence and facilitating coordination among technical and non-technical stakeholders during incidents, ensuring efficient and organized responses across all phases.


Responsibilities/Accountability:


  • Support CTI stakeholder onboarding by gathering primary intelligence requirements (PRIs) and building tailored use cases. Monitor client exposure via premium threat intelligence portals, analyse threat actor techniques, manage the IoC lifecycle, and perform structured OSINT reconnaissance. Extract and upload indicators of compromise into Security intelligence platforms for actionable insights.
  • Gather, analyse, and deliver tailored intelligence to support decision-making processes internally and for customers regarding current threats.
  • Monitor cybersecurity news and provide timely, contextualized threat intelligence to stakeholders through various reporting channels, including premium feeds.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders by translating threat intelligence into actionable priorities and helping them organize and prioritize activities.
  • Partner with various security teams, providing context and coordinating communication among technical and non-technical stakeholders during incidents.
  • Conduct CTI stakeholder interviews to gather primary intelligence requirements (PRIs) and develop tailored intelligence use cases based on those requirements.
  • Analyse threat actor techniques, tactics, and procedures to better understand and anticipate their capabilities.
  • Use premium threat intelligence platforms to monitor client exposure, detecting signs of sensitive disclosures, exposed credentials, or targeted hacker group activities.
  • Extract and manage the lifecycle of Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) within the Threat Intelligence Platform, organizing input sources, creating new indicators, and categorizing intelligence.
  • Leverage prior SOC experience to provide technical expertise in analysing and responding to cybersecurity incidents effectively.
  • Contribute to building and enhancing the CTI service by developing processes, tools, and business frameworks while participating in presales activities, including customer webinars and presentations to showcase the service's value.
  • Perform structured reconnaissance assessments using open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools to uncover relevant information.


Skills/Experience:


  • Solid foundation in cyber threat intelligence fundamentals, with 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Ability to balance strategic and tactical thinking, adapting quickly to different situations and challenges with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and their application in real-world scenarios.
  • Proficiency in conducting efficient research using structured methodologies to gather and analyse information.
  • Prior SOC experience is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in analytical thinking and producing high-quality reports with actionable insights with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in work outputs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Security-relevant certifications, scripting capabilities in Python or Bash are a plus.
  • Excellent English level (at least C1 Cambridge) is a hard requirement!
