Experience:

10+ years in Cybersecurity, with 4–6 years in security architecture or design roles

Key Responsibilities:

Security Architecture & Design

• Define and maintain enterprise security architecture, including network, cloud, application, data, and identity security domains.
• Design secure-by-design and zero-trust architectures for on-prem, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hybrid environments.
• Review and approve security designs for new systems, platforms, and integrations.
• Develop reference architectures, security patterns, and technical standards.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

• Act as a security advisor to engineering, platform, and business teams.
• Collaborate with SOC, GRC, IT operations, and risk teams to ensure end-to-end security coverage.
• Influence technology roadmaps and vendor selections from a security perspective.

Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor security engineers and architects.
• Contribute to security strategy, maturity roadmaps, and capability development.
• Promote security awareness and architectural best practices across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in enterprise and cloud security architecture.
• Deep understanding of:
• Network security, firewalls, and segmentation
• IAM, Zero Trust, PAM
• Application and API security
• Encryption, PKI, key management
• Vulnerability management and threat modelling

Frameworks & Standards

• Practical experience with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, NIS2, or similar frameworks.
• Ability to map security controls to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Certifications (Preferred)

• CISSP (strongly preferred)
• CCSP, or equivalent

Success Indicators

• Security architecture embedded early in projects with minimal rework
• Reduced security risks and audit findings
• Strong alignment between business objectives and security controls
