We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support the Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) and operations through data analysis, reporting, and process automation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with structured data, improving workflows, and reducing manual effort using tools like Excel, Power BI, VBA, and Power Automate.

You will play a key role in maintaining reporting accuracy, supporting reconciliations, and building automation solutions that improve efficiency across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Create and optimize existing and/or new Excel models, including advanced formulas and VBA macros
  • Automate workflows and business processes using Power Automate
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Assist in analyzing trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets
  • Support business teams with ad-hoc data requests and reporting needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, IT, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience (internships or project work included)
  • Experience with financial data, GL/AP/AR/IA processes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning, reconciliation)
  • Experience using Power Automate to build workflows (approvals, notifications, data handling)
  • Familiarity with Power BI (dashboard creation)
  • Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and strong attention to detail, especially when handling financial data
  • Analytical mindset with logical thinking and structured approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Strong ownership of tasks and accountability
