Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment on a contract basis in County Waterford, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to drive complex, cross-functional projects within a highly regulated setting.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sites to successfully deliver projects from initiation through to execution and integration. You will play a key role in aligning stakeholder expectations, managing risk, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional, multi-site project teams to deliver key initiatives
• Define and translate business and customer requirements into clear project scope
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate resource planning with functional managers
• Drive execution of project activities in line with agreed scope, schedule, and cost
• Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure effective stakeholder engagement
• Establish and maintain strong communication plans across all stakeholders and sites
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimise business impact
• Manage cost estimation, budget tracking, and forecasting processes
• Support and oversee project-related GMP documentation in line with site procedures

About You

• Proven experience in a project leadership role within the biopharma industry
• Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience managing projects within drug substance or drug product environments
• Project Management certification (e.g. PMI/PMP) preferred
• Strong working knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and regulated manufacturing environments
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
