👋 At NeuralTrust, we’re looking for a Red Team Engineer to help our enterprise customers successfully adopt and deploy our AI security platform. Join us!
About the Company
We’re a Barcelona-based startup building the future of Agents Security. Our SaaS platform enables large organizations to integrate generative AI and Agents into their products and services in a secure, reliable, and measurable way.
Backed by leading European investors and collaborating with top Spanish universities, we are at the forefront of making AI trustworthy at scale.
Generative AI and Agents is transforming industries — and at NeuralTrust, we ensure companies can embrace this transformation with confidence.
About the Role
We are looking for a Security Engineer with a strong technical background to join our global Red Team. This is a role for a "Builder-Breaker"—someone who understands that modern offensive security requires more than just running tools; it requires building them. Working alongside world-class AI Cybersecurity experts, you will research and develop new attack techniques, integrating them directly into our proprietary Offensive SDK. You will spend a significant portion of your time in Visual Studio, translating offensive research into production-ready code.
Responsibilities
- Offensive Research & Implementation: Investigate and prototype new attack techniques and TTPs, focusing on the intersection of traditional infrastructure and AI systems.
- SDK Contribution: Develop and maintain modules for our internal Offensive SDK, ensuring our team has custom, stealthy tools for every engagement.
- Adversary Simulation: Execute end-to-end Red Team engagements, simulating real-world adversaries to test and improve client defenses.
- Active Evasion: Design and implement custom code to bypass modern security controls (EDR/XDR) and behavioral detection engines.
- Collaborative Learning: Share findings with the broader AI Security team to refine our defensive and offensive capabilities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in offensive security (Red Teaming, Advanced Pentesting) or security-focused software development.
- Technical Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. A solid foundation in engineering principles is essential.
- Visual Studio Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in a professional development environment. You must be comfortable managing projects, debugging, and compiling code within Visual Studio.
- Offensive Mindset: Proven ability to research system internals and develop custom exploits, payloads, or bypasses.
- Problem Solver: A proactive approach to technical challenges—you prefer building a solution rather than waiting for a patch.
- Language: Fluent English for a global, international working environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux APIs and low-level system concepts.
- Certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, or CRTO.
- Contributions to open-source security tools or community research.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary aligned with your experience and impact.
- Work alongside a high-performing, international team.
- Hybrid setup in Barcelona, fostering strong collaboration.
- Flexible Compensation (COBEE): Access to a Cobee card to manage tax-free benefits, including: Restaurant/Meals, Public Transport and Daycare.
- Exposure to cutting-edge AI and enterprise-scale deployments.
- Be part of one of the most exciting AI startups in Europe.
