About The Company

Our client is a fast-growing and ambitious modular building company delivering high-quality projects across [residential/commercial/education/healthcare/etc.]. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced and highly capable Construction Project Manager to work directly alongside the business owner in managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional who wants to play a key role in a growing business, with genuine progression potential into an Operations Manager position for the right candidate.

The Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, leadership ability, and construction project management experience.

You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and site teams while supporting the ongoing growth and operational development of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple modular construction projects simultaneously
  • Coordinate all project activities from pre-construction through to handover
  • Develop and maintain project programmes and schedules
  • Oversee procurement of materials, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor project budgets, costing, and financial performance
  • Liaise directly with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Coordinate and manage onsite operations and project delivery
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely and in compliance with regulations
  • Track project progress and proactively resolve issues and delays
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress meetings
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout all phases
  • Assist in improving systems, processes, and operational efficiency
  • Support the business owner with strategic project planning and scaling operations

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven experience in construction project management
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage budgets, costing, procurement, and scheduling
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing business environment
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Strong IT and reporting skills, experience with project management software

Desirable:

  • Experience in modular construction, offsite construction, or timber frame systems
  • Trade background or construction-related qualification
