Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring, Struts, and Hibernate.
Hands-on experience with J2EE specifications like JAX-RS and JAX-WS.
Expertise in frameworks such as Node.js, React, AngularJS, or Backbone.
Experience with cloud platforms like OpenShift or AWS.
In-depth knowledge of IDE, programming language, and toolset of choice.
Excellent understanding of language and framework with a good working knowledge of the underlying abstraction layer.
Solid understanding of threads, threading models, and concurrent programming.
Ability to profile and optimize code efficiently.
Good knowledge of various programming languages and paradigms, with the ability to apply them appropriately.
Proficient in debugging and resolving complex problems.
Ability to identify and apply appropriate design patterns to various problems.
Comfortable developing large-scale features.
Writes clean, maintainable code.
Recognizes the importance of domain modeling and can coherently model a problem domain within a given context.
Anticipates medium-term (3-6 months) changes and designs/abstracts accordingly.
Understands design patterns such as CQRS and eventual consistency.
