Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support a growing, fully remote organization during a period of high hiring volume and operational process buildout. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity designed for an HR professional who enjoys owning and improving processes, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition and HR Operations, and contributing across the full HR lifecycle.

This role will initially be 50% focused on recruiting and onboarding for approximately 24 active openings, with the remaining time dedicated to HR operations and UKG-related projects. Over time, this position will expand further into performance management, L&D, compensation, payroll, and other HR initiatives.

You’ll work as part of a collaborative HR team (approximately 6–7 team members globally), partnering closely with another HR Generalist to divide responsibilities and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (Approx. 50%)

  • Support recruiting efforts for high-volume openings, including interview coordination, candidate communications, and hiring workflow execution
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition leadership to ensure timely, consistent hiring support
  • Own onboarding activities, including offer processing, system setup, and new hire orientation support
  • Assist with offboarding processes and documentation as needed

HR Operations & Process Ownership (Approx. 50%)

  • Own and improve core HR processes across operations, performance management, and workforce initiatives
  • Actively contribute to building, standardizing, and documenting scalable HR processes (cyclical vs. project-based work)
  • Support and expand HR initiatives related to compensation, payroll, benefits, and performance management
  • Partner with HR leadership on workforce-related projects and strategic charters
  • Collaborate across HR functions to ensure consistency and efficiency

HR Systems (UKG Focus)

  • Serve as an active user and process owner within UKG, supporting daily administration and project work
  • Assist with building out dashboards, reports, and workflows within UKG
  • Identify system inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Support data integrity, reporting, and HR analytics needs
