Role Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer with deep hands on expertise in Workday Studio and strong technical capability across PECI, PICOF, and connector integrations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record supporting multi country HR integrations, troubleshooting complex interface issues, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to resolve ticketing items efficiently. Additional experience with .NET, JavaScript, SQL, SSRS, and Power BI will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Integration Development & Support

Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and PICOF.

Support and maintain benefit integrations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.

Optimize and refactor existing integrations for improved performance and maintainability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as the integration point-of-contact for HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT stakeholders.

Liaise with business teams to understand issues raised through ticketing systems and drive resolution.

Prioritize tickets based on urgency and business impact, communicating timelines and status effectively.

Technical & Data Expertise

Work with Workday APIs, XML, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and associated technologies.

Collaborate with downstream system teams to ensure data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation.

Use SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting needs.

Leverage SSRS and Power BI to develop or support reporting and analytics where required.

Utilize .NET or JavaScript experience for peripheral system integration or debugging as applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years hands-on Workday Studio development experience.

Strong proficiency with PECI and PICOF, supporting multiple countries.

Expertise in troubleshooting Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and related integration components.

Experience Supporting Benefits Integrations (Health, Pension, Etc.).

Strong understanding of HR data structures, business processes, and security.

Ability to manage ticket queues, prioritize based on urgency, and communicate issues clearly.

Experience with .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and SSRS for system interoperability and reporting.

Familiarity with Power BI dashboards or data models.

Preferred Skills

Workday Integration (or relevant functional) certification(s).

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Knowledge of Workday Extend (optional but beneficial).

Exposure to global HR/payroll environments.
