Role Overview

This is a senior, hands-on engineering role with a strong emphasis on solution design and technical leadership.

You’ll take ownership of the frontend engineering across a modern digital platform, working closely with product and design teams to deliver scalable, high-performing applications.

This role will see you work on truly leading-edge projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Design and build modern web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript
• Set frontend engineering standards, tooling, and best practices
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and code quality standards
• Define and implement a Micro Frontends architecture
• Lead collaboration across engineering, product, architecture, and business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions
• Contribute to broader full-stack and platform architecture discussions
  
  

Skills & Experience

• 7+ years frontend engineering experience, including time in a senior or lead capacity
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Proven experience in frontend architecture and solution design
• Hands-on experience implementing Micro Frontends in production
• Experience building and maintaining design systems / component libraries
• Strong understanding of performance, accessibility, and scalable UI architecture
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience leading code reviews and setting engineering standards
• Exposure to cloud-based or serverless environments (AWS preferred)
• Passion for mentoring and elevating team capability
• Financial Services industry experience highly regarded
