Application Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Role Overview

We are looking for an Application Cloud Engineer to deploy, maintain, monitor, and support cloud applications hosted on AWS. The role focuses on cloud operations, automation, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and maintain applications in AWS
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain cloud infrastructure and security controls
  • Collaborate with development and security teams
  • Document operational procedures and configurations

Required Skills

  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC)
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Linux administration and scripting (Python/Bash)
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of cloud security and monitoring tools

Preferred

  • AWS certifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or Grafana

Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
