Senior Product Owner

pawaTech is looking for a Senior Product Owner who is passionate about sports technology, data-driven products and cross-functional collaboration. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for owning and coordinating the Sportsfeed domain while working closely with engineering, product, BI and operations teams to deliver reliable and scalable sports data solutions for our platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical understanding, business thinking and hands-on coordination in a fast-moving environment connected to live sports and betting operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating and refining technical and business user stories;
• Managing backlog prioritisation and supporting roadmap planning;
• Coordinating dependencies and delivery timelines across multiple teams;
• Working closely with backend, frontend, BI operations and product teams;
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements;
• Driving communication and coordination between technical and non-technical teams;
• Supporting project delivery processes and ensuring visibility of ongoing initiatives;
• Monitoring system and operational performance;
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of workflow processes and team collaboration.

What makes you a great candidate:

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in technical product environments;
• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and requirements refinement;
• Strong understanding of APIs, REST architecture, databases and system integrations;
• Experience working in an iGaming, sportsbook, fintech or other real-time platform environments;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including basic SQL knowledge;
• Experience managing backlogs, priorities, roadmaps, and cross-team dependencies;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with multiple parallel initiatives;
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to coordinate complex projects from idea to delivery.

Extra expertise we appreciate:

• Experience with sportsbook platforms or sports data feeds;
• Understanding of sports betting workflows and live betting operations;
• Experience with Grafana or monitoring tools;
• Familiarity with AI no-code or low-code tools.
