Job Description

We are looking for a talented and passionate Java/Microservices Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, with experience building enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java and Microservices architecture.
Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.
Build scalable and resilient systems following modern software engineering principles.
Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards, quality, and best practices are followed.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams for deployment and release activities.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

3–8 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java technologies.
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
Experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.
Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and scalable application design.
