Job Description:

Are you a skilled Data Product Owner ready to make an impact on a critical project in Belgium’s evolving energy landscape? We’re seeking a contract professional to drive the development of innovative, data-driven products that optimize business processes and deliver actionable insights.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for data solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design high-value data products.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and oversee efficient delivery using Agile-Scrum methodology.
• Lead data modeling initiatives while ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
• Oversee the development and implementation of data products across cross-functional teams.
• Support testing phases, validate datasets, and assist business users with training and adoption.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and process optimization.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data product management, BI projects, or data warehousing.
• Proficiency in data modelling, data governance concepts, and tools like Databricks, PowerBI, or similar.
• Strong experience in Agile-Scrum as a Product Owner.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate technical needs for non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in French and Dutch is essential, with good knowledge of English.
• Strong leadership qualities, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work autonomously.
