DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who works closely with Research & Development, Testing, Quality Assurance and Production teams to provide support for development and deployment tools, virtual environments, VCS system setup, configuration, monitoring and load testing. The ideal candidate will drive continuous process improvement and enhance the efficiency and quality of our CI/CD framework. In this role, you will identify and implement innovative ways to monitor and reduce Software Quality Assurance cycle times while accelerating the adoption of Continuous Integration best practices.

Responsibilities

• Setup/administration of server farm
• Setup/administration of network equipment’s
• Setup/administration of virtual machines
• Monitor system and identify patterns that affect the performance, reliability, or availability of a product or service and drive them out of the system through automation or other technical innovation
• Implement automation of recurrent tasks through scripting
• Maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations and troubleshooting procedures.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electronics, Computer Science or similar education
• Very good knowledge on Linux OS administration
• Very good knowledge on TCP / IP networking concepts
• Virtualization (VMware, Proxmox/Ovirt)
• Knowledge on SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases
• Proficiency using versioning tools (Git, SVN)
• Scripting languages (BASH, Python, etc.)
• Proven experience working with CI / CD concepts, methodologies and tools
