We’re currently looking for a Senior Java/Kotlin Software Engineer with strong Android Automotive experience to join a high-performing Software Engineering team delivering custom software solutions on a project for an enterprise client. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive technology within a modern Agile engineering environment.

The role will focus on building scalable, high-performing applications and software components across complex systems. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, contribute technically at a senior level, and collaborate closely with other engineers through code reviews, problem solving, and technical discussions.

🔧 Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Java (essential)
• Strong Kotlin experience
• Proven Android Automotive OS (AAOS) experience
• Experience with HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) integration
• Knowledge of Car Services and automotive-specific middleware
• Deep understanding of the Android ecosystem
• Strong experience with Android debugging tools such as ADB and Systrace
• Experience working within Agile software engineering teams

⭐ Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Machine Learning tools or AI-related technologies

• Designing, developing, and enhancing software components
• Building scalable and high-performing automotive applications
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
• Working fairly independently and becoming a technical SME within the team
• Participating in code reviews and technical solution discussions
• Collaborating closely with engineers through knowledge sharing and problem solving
• Navigating customer-specific technical environments and policies
• Continuously improving technical capability and project understanding
