The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with other stakeholders in supporting overall mission of the organization in the following functional areas of Organizational development, employment legal compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, HR Operations, managing accommodation, HRIS as well as administration tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and develop job descriptions for all the designations listed under the business.
- Set up the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for all employees in coordination with their department heads and HR Manager.
- Conduct probationary period confirmation with the relevant division heads in allotted time frame.
- Conduct periodic employee performance evaluations in coordination with the division heads and suggest ways of improvements in line with the business goals.
- Liaise with Administrators for unusual happenings on the workplace, obtain incident report and investigate with the involved parties for better understanding; ensuring necessary disciplinary actions such as, warning letter, suspension, notification, etc. are taken in accordance with the legal requirements. Additionally, provide counselling to employees for adherence to the company policies.
- Monitor and administer company accommodation on a regular basis to ensure that it is well managed and organized and update the accommodation file on a timely manner.
- Ensure employee health and safety by monitoring their working conditions, implementing related policies, and provide adequate guidance from time to time.
- Circulate employee birthdays in coordination with company Administrators.
- Conduct various activities to engage with employees and always create a positive work environment at all times.
- Ensure that updated forms and templates are available in the respective folders.
- Weekly circulate motivational quotes across all companies. Recommend any occasional quotes that could inspire the employees.
- Ensure company memos are circulated for public holidays and situational transitions, announcements, etc. in coordination with the HR Manager.
- Receive various employee requests (such as Salary Certificates, NOCs, etc.), verify, and process accordingly with necessary approvals.
- Review and approve employee schedules received from the Administrators and ensure a proper business support has been extended to the group without affecting the operations.
- Ensure timely arrangement of departmental stationaries in coordination with company Administrators.
- Ensure timely visits are conducted in all business locations to meet with employees and understand their needs and timely address them.
- Monitor and ensure that the medical insurance is applied and renewed for all employees on a regular basis across the group.
- Prepare commission structure and ensure its fair and timely disbursal in coordination with the head of sales, CRM, BDM and accounts.
- Record and monitor stamps issued to employees across the group and avoid its misuse which might affect the business image.
Perform any other duties or tasks that may be required by the management time to time.
