Title: Scrum Master

Location: Waterloo, ON (4x onsite per month, 2x per week biweekly)

Duration: 6 month contract

Pay range: $38-$44 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Scrum Master to support an investment platform integration, including both BAU support and adjacent project workstreams. This role will focus heavily on Agile facilitation, executive reporting (steering decks/board updates), and cross-team coordination within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate is a strong facilitator who is comfortable operating in high-pressure delivery environments, managing stakeholders, and supporting teams through blockers and ambiguity.

• Build and present steering committee decks to provide leadership updates

• Deliver board-level reporting, including:

• Project status

• Risks, issues, and mitigation plans

• Key delivery metrics

• Track and communicate project progress, blockers, and dependencies across stakeholders

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies:

• Daily stand-ups

• Sprint planning

• Sprint reviews and retrospectives

• Act as the primary facilitator and servant leader for Agile teams

• Identify, manage, and escalate blockers and incidents impacting delivery

• Collaborate closely with the Lead Project Manager to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery timelines

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and Agile maturity

• Support cross-team coordination and ensure clear communication across business and technical stakeholders

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 2–3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (boards, backlog management, sprint tracking)

• Experience working within financial services (banking, insurance, or capital markets)

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience supporting investment/asset management projects

•Familiarity with ServiceNow
