Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong Agile methodology expertise and mandatory banking domain experience to lead and support Agile delivery teams in a fast-paced financial services environment. The ideal candidate will drive Scrum best practices, facilitate collaboration across teams and stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring effective participation and adherence to Agile principles.
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments or blockers impacting team productivity, including technical challenges, dependency management, and stakeholder-related issues.
  • Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles, self-organization, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while fostering a customer-focused delivery mindset.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to maintain and refine the Jira product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product management and business teams, to provide project governance, status updates, risk management, and dependency tracking.
  • Ensure adherence to banking and financial industry standards, including SWIFT messaging and ISO 20022 compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and report Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, sprint progress, and cycle time to drive transparency and continuous process improvement.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
  • Strong expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Mandatory experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Agile project tracking tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong understanding of Agile metrics and continuous improvement practices.
  • Familiarity with financial industry standards such as SWIFT and ISO 20022 is highly preferred.
