Nice to meet you! I’m Milja Valentine, a Senior Talent Partner at LeadDesk. Together with Samu Lehtonen, our CPaaS Operations Manager, we are now looking for a VoIP Engineer to join our CPaaS Operations team in Helsinki.
CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) is the telecom side of LeadDesk’s contact center business and an important growth area for us. In this role, you’ll work close to the core of our telecom and VoIP infrastructure, helping us maintain, develop, and troubleshoot the environments and services that support LeadDesk’s voice traffic across Europe.

In this role, you’ll work close to the core of our telecom and VoIP infrastructure, helping us maintain, develop, and troubleshoot the environments and services that support LeadDesk’s voice traffic across Europe.

- Monitoring and maintaining LeadDesk VoIP infrastructure across multiple countries
- Supporting and developing in-house and open source systems in Linux server environment
- Investigating and resolving technical issues related to voice services, routing, and infrastructure
- Building and maintaining scripts to improve monitoring and operational efficiency
- Working closely with other teams in our Operations function, telecom partners, and other technical stakeholders to ensure reliable and high-quality services
- Taking part in developing and improving our CPaaS and VoIP environments together with the team
- You are able to handle most operational tickets and troubleshooting tasks independently
- You have built a solid understanding of how LeadDesk’s VoIP infrastructure at a high level
- You understand the operator side and how telecom systems, routing, and partners work together
- You have become a reliable and collaborative part of the team and work smoothly together with key internal and other stakeholders
- You are able to participate in day-to-day technical discussions within the team and contribute to improving operational efficiency, monitoring, and ways of working.
Must-haves
- Hands-on experience working with Linux server environments
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB
- Basic scripting skills with Python or a similar language
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in technical troubleshooting
- Ability to communicate and collaborate smoothly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Understanding of networking and server environments
- Familiarity with VoIP software such as Asterisk, Kamailio, or OpenSIPS
- Understanding of VoIP technologies such as SIP or WebRTC
- Finnish language skills
- Location: Helsinki HQ (hybrid work model 3 days a week at the office)
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Employment: Full-time, permanent
- Work permit in Finland: Required
- Compensation: Approximately 4000 to 4500 € / month
