🌐 About the role

At SOTEC Consulting – Astek Group, we are looking for an Linux Administrator profile to join a strategic project within the banking sector, in an international environment and focus on DevOps tools.

🪛 Responsibilities

• Provide continuous technical and functional support to users.
• Manage incidents ensuring rapid service restoration, with full transparency towards the business: logging, communication, coordination, resolution, and drafting of PIRs (Post Incident Reviews).
• Ensure the definitive eradication of problems and properly manage application access according to applicable recommendations.
• Contribute to the creation of production dashboards and carry out actions aimed at improving the service.
• Implement monitoring systems and parameters, overseeing the proper technical and functional functioning of the application.
• Control the correct execution of processes according to the production plan, verifying the quality of interfaces, transfers between applications, and the status of technical components.
• Monitor the proper functioning of backups and restoration processes.
• Orchestrate and manage releases, as well as perform technical integration of applications using existing products and services to optimize timelines; also schedule batch processes and define monitoring mechanisms.
• Create, maintain, and improve documentation: operational procedures, technical documentation, user manuals (in collaboration with development), and the knowledge base.
• Analyze and improve application performance (logs, traces, events), manage capacity according to business needs, perform data purges, provide expertise to IT Ops, estimate workloads, plan changes with different teams, and contribute to area processes ensuring compliance and necessary remediations.

🛠️ Mandatory requirements

• Operational knowledge of Linux systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps environments: Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
• English & French speaker
