Experience Required: 4 years

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Website Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a problem-solving mindset and a proven track record of delivering scalable, responsive and user-friendly websites. This role includes maintaining and enhancing existing sites, implementing new features, troubleshooting issues and optimizing websites for performance as per the suggestion & SEO measures.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Website Developer

• Web Development and Design
  
  

Design, develop, and deploy new web pages and web applications with high performance and scalability.

Ensure that all web pages and web applications are fully responsive, optimized for SEO, and compatible across multiple browsers and devices.

Collaborate with designers and content teams to create visually appealing and functional interfaces.

• Content Management and Updates
  
  

Update and maintain web pages and content sections to align with marketing and business strategies.

Manage dynamic content updates using CMS platforms such as WordPress

Implement webhook updates for lead data synchronization from web forms to CRMs or email marketing platforms.

• Lead Generation and Conversion Optimization
  
  

Integrate and manage exit-intent and inactivity popups on lead generation pages, including Free Trial, Contact and Pricing pages.

Develop lead forms for brochure downloads and other marketing assets, ensuring data integrity and analytics tracking.

Configure email validation rules to restrict personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail) on specific landing pages to improve lead quality.

• Error Management and Troubleshooting
  
  

Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including popup overlay conflicts, sitemap errors, 404 issues, and HTTPS to HTTP linking inconsistencies.

Liaise with third-party providers, such as Nitropack, to resolve plugin and optimization issues.

• Maintenance and Monitoring
  
  

Perform regular website maintenance tasks, including updates to plugins, frameworks and CMS platforms.

Ensure security measures are in place, including SSL updates and monitoring for vulnerabilities.

• Performance Optimization
  
  

Weekly perform maintenance checks, including cache purging and managing exclusions for scripts and CSS that conflict with optimization.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues, such as overlay or rendering errors post-optimization.

Test Nitropack plugin updates in a staging environment before implementing them on live websites.

Monitor and fine-tune Nitropack settings to achieve optimal performance without compromising functionality or design.

Skills And Qualifications

Technical Skills:

Frontend Development

Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and frameworks such as React

Experience with responsive and mobile-first web design principles

Backend Development

Strong knowledge of server-side languages like PHP, Node.js

Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).

CMS Expertise

Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems

Custom theme and plugin development for CMS platforms.

Additional Tools And Platforms

Familiarity with CDNs like Nitropack or Cloudflare.

Version control systems like Git/GitHub.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in website development

Proven experience in resolving technical issues and implementing scalable solutions.

Portfolio of previously completed projects showcasing expertise.
