AI Consultant

Summary:
We are seeking an AI Consultant to partner directly with development teams to accelerate productivity through responsible and effective use of AI tools. This role focuses on embedding within engineering teams to assess workflows, implement best-in-class AI tooling, and drive adoption through training, standards, and continuous improvement. The goal is to empower developers to work faster and smarter—enhancing their capabilities without replacing them.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assess current development workflows and identify opportunities where AI tools can drive the greatest impact
• Evaluate, select, and configure AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Codex, Anthropic/Claude, AWS Bedrock) aligned with team needs
• Establish standards, guidelines, and best practices for responsible and effective AI usage in software development
• Lead training sessions and enablement programs to drive adoption and proficiency across engineering teams
• Act as a trusted advisor to developers, guiding change management and improving processes
• Track tool adoption, measure productivity gains, and report on impact over time
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate AI best practices into the software development lifecycle

• Strong technical proficiency in Python, Machine Learning concepts, and AWS Bedrock
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, especially Copilot (critical), plus familiarity with Codex, Anthropic, or Claude
• Proven experience working closely with development teams in a consultative or enablement capacity
• Ability to design and implement frameworks, standards, and best practices for engineering teams
• Experience driving tool adoption and measuring impact in a technical environment

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to run engaging training and enablement sessions
• Strong consultative mindset with the ability to influence, mentor, and guide teams
• Adaptability and experience supporting organizational change and process improvement
• Collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving

• Expertise in Copilot and AI-powered development tools, combined with the ability to enable teams through training, guidance, and change management
