Functional Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and development teams to design innovative international payment solutions
• Support the evolution of blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) initiatives within cross-border payments
• Define and document APIs, business processes, data flows, and system integrations
• Participate in solution design, impact analysis, and cost-benefit assessments
• Coordinate with multiple IT teams to ensure alignment on functional responsibilities and implementation requirements
• Support development, testing, integration, deployment, and production activities
• Assist in creating test scenarios, analyzing defects, and validating delivered solutions
• Monitor production incidents and coordinate issue resolution with stakeholders
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate within a multicultural international squad
• Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure compliance with architectural and security standards

Experience Required

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Functional Analyst
• Strong experience within banking, payments, or financial services environments
• Proven knowledge of international and cross-border payment processes
• Experience analyzing and documenting payment-related business requirements
• Strong understanding of functional and technical IT systems
• Hands-on experience designing and documenting REST APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders effectively
• Experience with process analysis, solution design, and impact assessments
• Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus
