Project Manager

A leading tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in the Galway region. This is a strong opportunity to deliver award-winning, multi-million-euro building projects from pre-start through to handover in a fast-paced and high-performing environment.

Responsibilities

:• Develop, monitor, and update project programmes using planning software

.• Manage site operations including logistics, procurement, quality, and design coordination

.• Identify programme risks early and implement mitigation measures

.• Oversee BC(A)R, technical submittals, and design management

.• Prepare monthly progress reports covering programme, safety, quality, and financial performance

.• Lead project teams and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders

.• Chair site, QA, and coordination meetings with clear reporting and actions

.• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers

.• Support procurement and pre-construction activities where required

.Health & Safety

:• Ensure compliance with all H&S legislation and company systems

.• Promote a strong safety culture and oversee site safety practices

.• Manage risk assessments, method statements, and incident investigations

.• Ensure safety documentation, audits, and site plans are maintained and implemented

.Quality

:• Implement and maintain project QA systems

.• Conduct regular inspections and ensure high workmanship standards

.• Manage QA meetings and subcontractor quality compliance

.
Requirement

s:• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related disciplin

e.• Strong experience managing large-scale building project

s.• Excellent planning, programming, and site management skill

s.• Strong knowledge of BC(A)R, procurement, and design coordinatio

n.• Proficient in MS Project and Microsoft Offic
