Data Analyst

We're looking for a Data Analyst to turn financial data into actionable insights that drive our lending decisions and product development. You'll work across the business — from credit risk reporting and portfolio analytics to product usage metrics and forecasting validation. This role is ideal for someone who combines sharp analytical thinking with a genuine interest in financial services and wants to see their analysis directly shape how capital is deployed.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports for credit portfolio performance, loan book analytics, and risk metrics
• Analyse borrower data, repayment patterns, and default indicators to support underwriting decisions
• Develop and automate recurring financial and operational reports for the leadership team
• Validate and monitor the performance of ML models (credit scoring, cash-flow forecasting) alongside the AI/ML team
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support product development, pricing strategy, and market research
• Define and track key business KPIs across lending operations and platform adoption
• Work with engineering to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across Clickhouse and MongoDB
• Prepare data for regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Clickhouse, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase)
• Solid understanding of statistics — hypothesis testing, regression, cohort analysis
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation
• Experience building dashboards and automated reporting pipelines
• Strong business acumen — ability to connect data insights to business decisions
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in FinTech, lending, banking, or financial services analytics
• Familiarity with credit risk metrics (PD, LGD, EAD, vintage analysis)
• Knowledge of financial compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar data transformation tools
• Background in A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
• Understanding of ML model evaluation and performance monitoring
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude)
