Backend Engineer (Data)

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to help build scalable services and data platforms that turn large volumes of telemetry and operational data into actionable insights.

Working within a small, high-performing engineering team, you'll develop backend services, data pipelines, and internal tools that enable teams across the business to better understand and utilise data.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data applications.
• Develop and improve data pipelines and reporting capabilities.
• Contribute to AI-powered and data-driven tooling.
• Improve automation, scalability, reliability, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Strong backend development experience with Python and/or Go.
• Experience building cloud-based distributed systems.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, data warehousing, and large-scale datasets.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong communication skills and professional English.
