Senior Full Stack Developer

At Salus mea, we build technology that needs to work in real life – in older people’s homes, in the daily reality of care services, and for staff who need simple and reliable tools. We are now looking for a senior fullstack developer who wants to help develop our entire platform together with a small but experienced team.

Salus mea develops Digitalt Besök, a service that helps municipalities carry out digital home care visits in a safe, simple and secure way. Our users include care staff, relatives and older people living at home. This places high demands on simplicity, stability, accessibility and security.

We are six people in total, and we are now growing our development team to increase our development pace, build new functionality and meet growing demand from municipalities.

About the role

We are not looking for someone who only wants to own one limited part of the system. We are looking for someone who wants to understand the full picture.

With us, you will help develop, maintain and improve the entire platform – from the portal and backend to apps, operations and technical decisions. The role suits someone who enjoys broad responsibility, close collaboration and solving problems where they arise.

You will, among other things, work with:

• developing new functionality in the portal, backend and apps
• further developing and maintaining APIs and backend services
• contributing to our iOS and Android apps
• participating in technical decisions around architecture, operations and scalability
• working with quality, testability and code reviews
• contributing to monitoring, troubleshooting and incident handling
• taking part in customer-related problem solving when the technology needs to be understood in depth

You will work closely with Jacob and Matej, who are both senior developers. Jacob mainly works with apps and backend, while Matej mainly works with frontend and backend. We now want to complement the team with another senior person who can take broad responsibility and contribute across several parts of the platform.

Tech stack

Our platform consists of a web portal, backend/API services and apps for iOS and Android. Technically, we mainly work with TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, Swift and Kotlin. Our operations are currently hosted in AWS, with a direction towards Kubernetes.

The most important thing for us is not that you know every technology from day one, but that you are senior, curious and want to understand the full picture.

Who we are looking for

We believe you have at least five years of experience as a developer and are confident in a senior role. You need to be able to work independently, take initiative and at the same time enjoy building a product together with others.

We believe you would be a good fit with us if you:

• have solid experience in fullstack development
• are comfortable with TypeScript, frontend and backend
• have experience with operations, DevOps or cloud-based SaaS services
• are interested in apps and preferably have worked with iOS and/or Android
• want to understand the entire system, not just one technical part
• take responsibility for quality, stability and long-term maintainability
• are pragmatic and willing to help where needed
• enjoy working in a small company where you get significant responsibility
• can communicate in Swedish and/or English
• you must be resident in Sweden, as we value the ability to meet in person from time to time

Our development meetings are held in English.

Nice to have

It is a plus if you have experience in any of the following areas:

• accessibility and WCAG
• healthcare, social care or the municipal sector
• video technology or WebRTC
• monitoring, logging and incident handling
• mobile apps in production
• Kubernetes
• information security and secure development
