The consultant will support AI prototyping and early-phase feasibility assessments for next-generation vehicle systems. The role focuses on turning ideas into prototypes, validating technical viability, and assessing measurable value compared to existing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with domain experts in Vehicle Dynamics, Energy Management, and Intelligent Drive to identify opportunities where AI can create value.
- Build and test early-stage AI prototypes using real-world or simulated data.
- Define, monitor, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
- Efficiency improvements
- Performance gains
- Robustness
- Cost and complexity reduction
- Benchmark prototype results against baseline methods and state-of-the-art approaches.
- Support feasibility assessments covering:
- Data availability
- Compute and latency constraints
- Integration complexity
- Document findings and provide input for go/no-go decisions.
- Contribute to reusable tools, experiment setups, and prototype frameworks.
- Degree in AI, Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0β3 years of relevant experience, including thesis work, academic projects, or internships.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as:
- PyTorch
- TensorFlow
- Keras
- Solid understanding of:
- Machine Learning fundamentals
- Evaluation metrics
- Overfitting control techniques
- Experiment design and structure
- Hands-on experience or exposure to:
- Computer Vision
- Pattern Recognition
- Deep Learning
- Ability to structure open-ended problems and learn new concepts quickly.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with domain experts.
- Portfolio, GitHub projects, thesis work, or prototype development experience is highly valued.
- Curious and fast-learning.
- Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working with exploratory and open-ended challenges.
- Collaborative and communicative.
- Value-driven mindset focused on feasibility and measurable impact.
