Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a Reporting Specialist to support project reporting, performance monitoring, and data analytics activities across our offshore and construction operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting project data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to management and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly project reports
• Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret project data from various sources
• Consolidate project information and provide accurate reporting to management and stakeholders
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of reporting data
• Develop meaningful reports, metrics, and management summaries to support decision-making

Dashboard Development & Business Intelligence

• Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards using Power BI and Excel
• Create visual reports and performance indicators tailored to different stakeholders
• Transform complex datasets into actionable business insights
• Support data-driven decision-making through reporting and analytics

Project Controls & Performance Monitoring

• Monitor project KPIs, productivity, progress, and performance trends
• Track planned versus actual progress and highlight deviations
• Support project planning and controls activities through performance reporting
• Identify reporting gaps, project risks, and potential delays through data analysis
• Assist management with forecasting and project performance evaluation

Process Improvement & Automation

• Develop and automate reporting tools using Excel, VBA, Power Query, Power BI, and other reporting platforms
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and standardization
• Support digitalization initiatives and implementation of reporting solutions
• Establish reporting templates, standards, and best practices

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Operations, and Project teams to gather and validate information
• Prepare presentations, executive summaries, and management reports
• Present findings and reporting outputs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ensure timely and effective communication of project performance and reporting results

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Experience in reporting, project controls, planning, data analytics, or similar functions
• Candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered, provided they demonstrate strong technical capability and the ability to manage reporting and data analysis activities independently
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, VBA/Macros
• Strong experience with Power BI and dashboard development
• Demonstrated ability to manage, analyze, and interpret large datasets
• Good understanding of construction workflows, offshore operations, and project lifecycles
• Knowledge of progress measurement, project reporting, and performance tracking
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in offshore, oil & gas, marine, EPC, shipbuilding, or large-scale construction projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
• Experience with Power Automate, SQL, SharePoint, or other business intelligence tools.
• Experience in reporting automation, digital transformation, and process improvement initiatives.
