User Interface Designer

We are currently recruiting for an interesting onsite User Interface Designer role working for an esteemed Governmental client based in Stavanger, Norway:

Duration: 12 months + extensions

Location: Stavanger Onsite

Pay Rate: Please state your current net/gross salary

English Speaking (Norwegian a plus)

Tasks:

· Creating aesthetic looks of applications, including color palettes, typography, icons, and graphic elements

· Design layouts of pages and screens to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly experience

· Develop interactive elements such as buttons, forms, and navigation menus

· Create interactive prototypes to test and demonstrate design concepts before implementing them

· Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across the entire portfolio

· Work closely with UX designers to ensure that the visual design supports the user experience

· Collaborate with service designers to translate user studies and findings from service design into concrete solutions

· Participate in user testing to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to the design

· Continuously improve and update the design based on feedback and new trends

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience with UI design

· Good understanding of principles for universal design (UU)

· Experience with Figma to create designs and interactive prototypes

· Experience with design systems in Figma, such as designsystemet.no

· Certification in graphic design and visual communication desirable

· Experience with modern development methodology (Scrum/Kanban). The Directorate uses Azure DevOps

· Education - minimum bachelor's, preferably master's level

· Resources offered full-time (80 – 100% capacity) will be preferred.
