Norwegian Language Specialist | $45/hr Remote

Position: Norwegian Language Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $10 - $45/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Record high-quality audio samples in Norwegian, ensuring clear pronunciation and minimal background noise.
• Transcribe and annotate audio data with meticulous attention to detail, following established guidelines.
• Evaluate the quality of speech data, providing constructive feedback and ensuring accuracy in labeling.
• Collaborate closely with the customer s team to support sophisticated AI workflow processes.
• Utilize phonetic knowledge to ensure correct pronunciation and intonation in all recordings.
• Maintain organized records of audio files, annotations, and evaluation results.

Requirements

• Have native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian, with a strong command of pronunciation and linguistic nuances.
• Experience in audio recording, such as voice acting, podcasting, music production, or similar roles is highly valued.
• Familiarity with speech data collection and AI workflows is preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail for accurate transcription and annotation tasks.
• Awareness of phonetics and standard Norwegian pronunciation is essential.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in providing feedback and collaborating remotely.
