Job Title: Senior Drilling Operations Manager

Role Summary

Lead and manage drilling operations across multiple rigs to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective well delivery in line with operational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities (Mandatory)

• Manage multi‑rig drilling operations and ensure delivery against approved plans
• Oversee drilling programme execution in line with technical standards and well designs
• Monitor rig performance, well progress, and operational efficiency
• Ensure strict HSE compliance and regulatory adherence
• Lead drilling planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Control drilling budgets and optimise costs
• Track KPIs, drilling metrics, and performance reporting
• Manage contractors and service companies
• Lead and develop drilling teams and engineers

Key & Mandatory Skills

• Strong drilling operations & engineering expertise (well design, rig operations)
• Solid knowledge of well control and risk management
• Proven ability in operational performance improvement (efficiency, downtime reduction)
• Experience in contractor & stakeholder management
• Strong decision‑making in complex drilling environments
• Strong focus on HSE and regulatory compliance

Minimum Requirements

• 15+ years’ experience in drilling operations (onshore/offshore)
• 7+ years in senior drilling leadership roles
• Experience managing large‑scale drilling campaigns
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
