Tech Lead - Android

Our client is looking for a talented technical lead to help define, outline and create Android technology solutions for their internal inhouse applications for their cruise ships. This person will be working with offshore teams, providing code reviews and contributing to the Android, Java codebase with OOP. They would love to have someone with experience with React Native as they will be working closely with the Mobile and iOS teams to produce the best mobile applications.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years building complex, high quality Android applications, and have a strong knowledge of Android app design principles, patterns, and best practices
• 3+ years of experience developing with Java, Kotlin, and the Android development ecosystem
• Robust knowledge of Java, RxJava, RxBinding, Dependency Injection, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
• Experience providing leadership or mentorship to development teams.
