An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established international consultancy supporting the delivery of building and construction projects across the Düsseldorf region.

Location: Dusseldorf, Germany

Salary: €75,000 - €90,000 + package (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a globally recognised consultancy operating across construction and infrastructure sectors, seeking an experienced Project Manager to strengthen its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of local construction projects, taking responsibility for project delivery while also supporting key site management and construction supervision activities.

The successful candidate will oversee projects from planning through to completion, ensuring programme, quality, cost, and stakeholder objectives are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

Day-to-day duties will vary but could include:

• Managing construction and building projects through all project phases from design coordination through to handover.
• Acting as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinating project schedules, resources, and delivery activities to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Supporting site supervision activities and monitoring construction progress in line with programme requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with German building regulations, health and safety standards, and project-specific quality requirements.
• Reviewing contractor performance, progress reports, and construction documentation.
• Managing project risks, identifying potential issues, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Supporting tendering, procurement, and contract administration activities where required.
• Conducting site inspections, progress meetings, snagging activities, and final project handovers.
• Preparing and presenting project updates, reports, and key performance information to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience delivering building construction projects within Germany.
• Previous experience in project management combined with elements of site management, construction supervision, or Bauleitung.
• Strong understanding of German construction regulations, permitting processes, and project delivery requirements.
• Experience working within consultancy, contractor, or client-side environments.
• German and English language skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously.
• Experience delivering commercial, mixed-use, residential, industrial, or public sector projects would be advantageous.
