Elusav Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Projects Delivery Engineer for a leading Engineering and Technical Services Contractor in the water and wastewater treatment space. They are looking for a Projects Delivery Engineer who can support and manage a diverse range of design projects, both greenfield and brownfield in nature, as well as support preconstruction/proposal activities. This role sits within the companies contracting division, but they also operate large managed services contracts for Ireland largest WWTP facilities, where majority of the projects are delivered.


The Projects Delivery Engineer will report to the Senior Projects managers and support the delivery of critical projects up to the value of €40 Million. Excellent opportunity to join an industry leader with a significant footprint in the wastewater treatment space in Ireland. Long term local opportunity, and also strong remuneration package.


Responsibilities:

  • Production of documentation, including reports, drawings, calculations, specifications, tender documentation, and particular specifications.
  • Production of project budgets and resource-loaded detailed work programmes.
  • Co-ordinating with PSCS, PSDP, Client, Operations and other stakeholders.
  • Providing technical advice and guidance.
  • Providing input to bids and project managing appropriate projects.
  • Supervision & management of contractors.
  • Responding to Client requests for information.
  • Preparation and/or review RAMS.
  • Identify interfaces with operations, impacts, consequences, work-arounds and plan, execute operations dependent tasks within the suitable window.
  • Support maintenance by managing SLAs and contractors.
  • Identify and prioritise capital maintenance projects based on equipment/process condition and criticality.


Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
  • Ability to risk assess equipment and criticality
  • Have experience in design at all levels, from feasibility to a "for construction" level.
  • Have considerable technical knowledge of all aspects of design as it impacts technical, budgetary and programme issues.
  • PRINCE2 or PMP qualification or experience in a PRINCE2/PMP structured project is preferred.
