Project and Process Consultant

Project and Process Consultant to act as a Project Manager to join a business at an exciting time of growth and transformation.

Reporting to the GBS – PMO Manager

Direct deliverables will include:

• Managing regional & global digital projects according to PMI standards with limited supervision under specialized domain. Supporting business unit to meet their KPI’s, providing a smooth transition to BAU.
• Develop, maintain, implement, and communicate business project plans, business operation process.
• Ensure the project management deliverables are within the defined governance structure of GBS PMO and provide input for the annual review of the internal governance processes.
• Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee multiple business projects simultaneously.
• Manage project owner and deliver project outcomes on time and with quality.
• Pro-actively follow up Quality assurance procedures.
• Support the consultants in the creation and maintenance of detailed description of business processes by modelling process activities, responsibilities, systems, risks and controls using recognised process notations. (Process authoring)
• Support Business Process Management (BPM) initiatives collaboratively from start to finish - defining the ‘as is’, identifying gaps and redesigning ‘to be’ state to improve efficiencies. Model lean and efficient processes.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate should have:

• Min 5 years relevant experience in business project & process management.
• University degree essential and master’s degree would be an asset.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English is a must.
• Holding a valid PMI and/or Prince2 or scrum master credentials is nice to have.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
• Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply these skills into project management methodology.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a high-performing team.
• Experience in process management tools (i.e. Visio, Nimbus, ARIS).
• Total Quality Management, Six Sigma and Lean Process Management knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced office tools knowledge including MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira
• Experience in leading workshops.
• Open minded and flexible personality.
• Customer, quality, process and result driven.
• Remains focused and professional in fast paced business environment.
• Travel to countries of global and regional offices if required.
• Military service shall be completed.
