Create a unified, future proof Secondary eco system that supports our methods and publishing businesses across Sanoma Learning β€” starting with Malmberg and expanding step by step to the rest of the SL companies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Serve and support the Product Owner and Development Team in delivering value to customers.
  • Support the team using a servant leadership style and lead by example.
  • Act as a strong ambassador of Scrum and Agile values.
  • Guide and coach the Scrum Team and the wider organization on Agile/Scrum practices and values.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and Team Health Checks.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.
  • Maintain and actively manage impediments, working with stakeholders to remove blockers.
  • Foster psychological safety and support healthy team dynamics.
  • Partner with the Product Owner on team performance, delivery metrics, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of team members within the Scrum team.
  • Facilitate communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Help define and evolve the team’s Way of Working.
  • Support planning activities and alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Bring enthusiasm and curiosity towards AI tooling and new ways of working.
  • Work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural team environments.
  • Influence without formal authority.
  • Establish collaboration structures between teams, including existing platforms, new features, and platform teams.

Must-have Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting multiple software development teams.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills, especially in complex or changing environments.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and how to apply them in real-world contexts.
  • Ability to work with metrics and use data to drive improvement and transparency.
  • Experience in removing impediments at both team and organizational level.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across roles.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and building trust within teams.
  • Ability to work with different Agile approaches, e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
  • Fluent English.
  • Ability to make decisions and be accountable for decisions and actions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective planning and organisation skills.
  • Ability to cope well under pressure and with uncertainty.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in the face of changing priorities or circumstances.
  • Strong drive for results.
  • Knowledge of AI agents, AI tooling, or AI-enabled ways of working.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Advanced Scrum certification, e.g. PSM II, CSP.
  • Analytical or technical background.
  • Coaching background.
  • Experience with scaling Agile across teams.
  • Experience in transformation setups.
