IT Security Analyst (NL + ENG)

Position: IT Security Analyst

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Hybrid: 2-3 times a week on the client´s office

Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium

Mandatory Languages: One of the national languages (Dutch and French) must be the mother tongue, and the other language must be understood and readable

Job Description:

We are seeking an IT Security Analyst to protect our organization’s IT infrastructure and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. The successful candidate will monitor security systems, analyze incidents, and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor IT systems and networks for potential security breaches;
• Investigate and analyze security incidents and escalate as necessary;
• Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies;
• Maintain and update documentation of security incidents and actions taken;
• Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies and controls;
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience in IT security monitoring or incident response (2+ years preferred);
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, and antivirus software;
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security principles;
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent (preferred);
• Excellent communication and analytical skills;
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
