Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Engineer with a strong background in Routing and Switching to join our team in Eindhoven, Netherlands. This position requires over 10 years of expertise in Network Routing and WAN Technology. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing network infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance of routing and switching technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network routing and switching solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to routing and switching.
• Optimize network performance to ensure reliable and secure data transmission.
• Configure and manage WAN technologies to support business operations.
• Work closely with network architects and other engineers to design robust network solutions.
• Perform regular network assessments and upgrades as required.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment of network strategies with business objectives.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in Routing and Switching, specifically in WAN technologies.
• Expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Deep understanding of network routing and switching technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent understanding of WAN technologies and their configuration.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of network automation and SDN (Software Defined Networking).
• Experience with network management tools and software (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent in Networking.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
