We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist at The Voodoo Casino (the position is offered on a temporary basis for up to 2 years) to join our team and contribute to our vibrant workplace culture. This role is critical in ensuring seamless HR operations, with a strong focus on innovation, compliance, and employee engagement. The gross salary for this position ranges from €1,700 to €1,900 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. We are part of dynamic and fast-growing organization dedicated to delivering exceptional entertainment experiences.
What will you be doing?
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Implement non-traditional approaches to attract and hire frontline personnel, leveraging social media, community outreach, and industry events.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support ongoing staffing needs.
- Oversee the onboarding process, including Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) training, work regulations, and instructions.
Employment Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare and manage all employment documentation, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Support hiring and termination processes, including drafting contracts, termination letters, and other legal documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in line with legal requirements.
HRIS Systems Management:
- Utilize HRIS systems for employee data management, leave management and coordination, and data reporting.
- Provide training and support to managers and staff on the effective use of HRIS tools.
Wellbeing and Employee Engagement:
- Organize and coordinate employee wellbeing initiatives and activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Act as a resource for employees, addressing workplace concerns and promoting open communication.
Managerial Support:
Partner with managers to address employee performance, development, and retention strategies.
Provide guidance on HR best practices, conflict resolution, and team management.
Does this sound like you?
Proven experience in HR roles, particularly in retail, hospitality, or similar fast-paced, shift-oriented environments.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment practices.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office. Preferably, but not mandatory, experience with Navision, BC, and Cornerstone.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and recruitment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
