Product Owner (BI/DWH Team)

pawaTech is looking for a data-driven Product Owner for our Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Engineering team, with an inherent passion for teamwork and a collaborative spirit. As a Product Owner, you will manage the backlog, prioritise tasks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of BI/DWH initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders across development, compliance, marketing, and finance to drive improvements and align the team with the company’s strategic goals. You will be contributing to the development of the BI/DWH framework and implementing changes that enhance data processes and insights for the entire organisation.

You will work on:

• Oversee change management processes, incident reports, and team initiatives;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, marketing, and finance, to gather requirements;
• Own and manage the BI/DWH team’s backlog, aligning tasks with business and technical priorities;
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and promote team efficiency;
• Oversee change management processes and support compliance initiatives;
• Bring insights to improve the BI/DWH framework and streamline processes;
• Track and communicate progress on team projects to stakeholders.

Key skills and experience for this role:

• 5-7 years of Product Owner experience in Agile software development;
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management;
• Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with data engineering or quality control concepts;
• Proficiency in Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence;
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail;
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and deliver under tight deadlines.
