LegionellaDossier - QA Engineer

Founded in 2015 and based in Utrecht, LegionellaDossier prides itself on being at the forefront of water safety technology, whether by developing innovative products, fostering a positive company culture, or delivering exceptional service to our clients. We are a close-knit team of 20 professionals, and with our rapid growth, we expect to triple in size within the coming year.

As a QA Engineer at LegionellaDossier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and compliance of our products. You will be responsible for establishing and implementing a strong QA framework to support our expanding software systems. This role will be instrumental as we continue to grow our platform and enter new markets.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain QA processes, ensuring the high quality of our SaaS solutions across web and mobile platforms.
• Perform automated testing to verify functionality, identify issues, and provide feedback to the development team.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to integrate testing within the Agile workflow and help prioritize testing areas.
• Set up and manage testing pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with GitLab for CI/CD processes.
• Maintain and update QA strategies and documentation as new features are added and regulatory requirements evolve.
• Act as the key quality advocate within the team, ensuring that our software remains reliable, user-friendly, and compliant with government regulations.
  
  
  

To be successful in this role, you’ll:

• Have experience in setting up QA systems and strategies, with a proactive approach to quality assurance.
• Be comfortable with automated testing on complex software systems.
• Demonstrate strong familiarity with tools such as Jira, GitLab, and data monitoring tools like Datadog or New Relic.
• Be able to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams and have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and be capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a background in SaaS or software testing.
• Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of YAML/JSON or similar tools for configuring parameters or handling more technical tasks.
• Familiarity with Jira and other project management tools.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Fluency in Dutch is not required.
• Technical skills in setting up automation and testing pipelines are a strong plus.
