AI Algorithm Engineer (EP Considered)

Trulyyy is partnering with our client to seek an experienced AI Engineer with expertise in Computer Vision to join a forward-thinking team. In this role, you will spearhead the design, development, and deployment of deep learning models tailored for edge IoT devices. Collaborating closely with a team of AI experts, you will focus on building and optimizing real-time image and video processing solutions for embedded systems. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation at the intersection of AI, smart devices, and IoT technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AI models for tasks including object detection, segmentation, tracking, recognition, and action recognition.
• Enhance model performance to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Apply model compression techniques for seamless deployment on IoT embedded platforms.
• Collaborate in an agile development environment to meet project goals and timelines.
• Write clean, scalable, and high-performance code with an emphasis on maintainability and extensibility.
• Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field, with strong self-learning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python and C/C++ for production-level programming.
• Expertise: In-depth knowledge of computer vision and AI, with hands-on experience deploying models on embedded systems.
• Frameworks: Strong proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Optimization: Familiarity with transfer learning and model optimization techniques.
• Communication: Excellent skills in conveying complex ideas through data storytelling and visualization.
• Preferred:
• Experience in deploying AI solutions on edge platforms.
• Recognition in algorithm competitions or publications in leading conferences/journals.
• Mandarin proficiency for effective communication with counterparts in China.

Budget for this role will be 5k -10k SGD for 12+2 Month
