The Role

Join our Design System and Dashboard teams as a Front-end Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in crafting delightful user experiences for our users. We are passionate about innovation and building upon Neo4j, our native graph database. Key Responsibilities

• Develop delightful user experiences: Your primary focus will be to create elegant and user-friendly components that teams can use to enhance the user experience of our products, including our new Dashboard.
• Research, ideate, and iterate: Think of the Design System and Dashboard as your playgrounds, where you can explore new ideas, contribute to feature ideation, and bring your innovative concepts to life.
• Contribute to both design system and product development: Play an integral role in both maintaining and enhancing our Design System and actively contributing to the development of our new Dashboard product, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality user experience across all platforms.
• Attention to detail: Attention to detail is at the core of our design philosophy. Get lost in pixels as you meticulously craft pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Ownership and autonomy: Join our small and highly collaborative team where you'll have the autonomy to take ownership of features from ideation through release and maintenance. Your contributions will make a tangible impact on our products.
  
  

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Neo4j Browser, Aura, and many more. Currently, we have a portfolio of more than 7 user-facing products.
• Work closely on the development of our new Dashboard product, enabling customers to build insightful dashboards based on their database data.
• Continuously learn, experiment, and specialize in areas that pique your interest, contributing to your personal growth and the team's success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, with prior experience in UI/UX design or related roles.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a flexible software development environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate on complex technical topics.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with design systems or component libraries.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Experience with backend technologies and integrating front-end with backend services.
